Trolleys are one of the best manual handling equipments, which are used in industries, supermarkets, stores, hospitals and also in a domestic setup. Today, we will take a look at three common types of trolleys, which we all have come across or used at some point or the other in our lives. Here is the list:
3 Tier Trolley: As the name suggests, a three tier trolley consists of three tiers or racks. You must have come across this type of trolleys in hotel lobbies or restaurants (and sometimes even at fast food joints). In these places, the trolleys help the staff by saving them double trips apart from relieving them from manual labour.
Collapsible Trolley: A collapsible trolley is another common type of trolley, which I am sure everyone has used at least once. Yes, these are the same trolleys that you find at airports or at supermarkets. These can be ‘collapsed’ and neatly lined up before and after their use. Again, these are available in many varieties and come with sturdy castors and wheels, which make it easier for you to handle the trolley and the goods in it.
Fold Away Trolley: This is another trolley that is used largely in different work places. This is because these are economical in terms of storage space. Once your work is done, you can fold them and stow them away in the store room or any corner quite easily and save on the storage space. A fold away trolley is as useful in a household as it is in a commercial setup. Also, these come in different forms, depending upon your use.
