Without You Being In It – Are you camera shy? Get two Starbucks coffees and just write ‘Mr’ & ‘Future Mrs’ with your fiancé holding her cup with the ring on it! Remember, get a hot drink that will get you the paper cups so that you can write on them.
Use Your Furry BFF – As a candid wedding photographer I can vouch that your doggy or even your cat will make everything look cuter! Have a small pluck card written with ‘My Parents Are Engaged’ or ‘Getting Married’ and make your pet hold it in his/her mouth or even neck. You can be in the background or even hold them up!
On The Beach – Live close to the beach? Perfect. As a candid wedding photographer, I love everything about beaches. They are romantic and casual at the same time! Write your announcement in the sand. You can even take a Boomerang of it being written and share that across. Fun and so creative!
For The Tech Lovers - Use your phones! Grab a close-up of you kissing him, and him kissing you, and pull up on your phones together so that they make one picture. Hold out both phones toward the camera to create a “photo within a photo” image. So cool and so simple!
Spell It Out – Use scrabble letters or scribble it on a chalkboard. You can have a cute message like ‘I said YES!’ or ‘Our Forever Begins Now’ and snap up a picture of it.
