There are advantages and disadvantages over choosing canter or jeep. A canter is a 20 seater kind of bus whereas, jeep is a 6-seater vehicle. A jeep is very comfortable and you can stop the driver anytime on your request. Though a canter is uncomfortable but probably a guide would be knowledgeable and driver will cover all the areas. There are chances that due to the noise of canter, sometimes animals run away. Anyway, it is always about luck whether you spot tiger or not during the safari. Thus, it is suggested that you try out more and more safari to increase the chances of spotting wildlife. It may be affecting to your budget.

Which zone should be preferred?

There are 10 different zones, generally, 1- 3 zones have very fair chances of spotting tigers. 4-5 zones have fewer chances and 6-10 zones have very limited chances. Zones 105 take you deeper in the park and thus chances are increased. But this case is not always same. Sometimes and some days, people spot animals in 6-10 zones and do not spot in 1-5. So, it is totally about your luck.
