Ranthambore was always one of the destinations in my bucket list which entices me to plan my Ranthambore tour. After a long time, I had planned my 2 days trip to Ranthambore. As I was eagerly waiting for my visit to Ranthambore, I was super excited to go on a wildlife trail in Ranthambore. It was the time of winter when the entire town enjoys a wonderful climate which adds a unique charm to the natural beauty of Ranthambore. My friends accompanied me as they were also interested in enjoying the thrill of spotting a tiger in the natural habitat. Here are some glimpses of my 2 days wildlife journey in Ranthambore -

How I reach Ranthambore?

As I was traveling in a group, it is preferred to book a traveler to reach Ranthambore so that we can travel comfortably. From Jaipur, Ranthambore is approximately 155.7 kilometers away and takes 3 hrs 35 minutes to reach.

Check-in to the resort

Once we arrived in Ranthambore, we were taken to our prior booked resort which is one of the best resorts in Ranthambore, Maa Ashapura Farm that serves utmost satisfaction to its guests. Upon our arrival at the resort, we were welcomed with full traditional Indian style tilak ceremony. Further, the staff allotted us our pre-booked luxury rooms which are fully featured with top-class amenities and services. After taking rest for a while and having our lunch we all leave towards the Ranthambore National Park in the afternoon.

We have already booked our canter safari in the wildlife reserve, so we proceed towards our canter and there begins our Ranthambore wildlife tour. Our guide keeps on instructing us and we followed his instructions fully. On the first day, we spot nilgai, sambhar deer, striped hyena, gray langur, black bucks, and other bird species. Wildlife safari lasts for 6:00 pm and then we return back to the point from where our safari starts. Further, we were transferred to the resort for an overnight stay in Ranthambore.

Overnight stay in the farm

We have booked luxury machaan accommodation in the resort which was fully furnished, having a separate barbeque facility, and serves luxury amenities and a Horse riding tour along with the stay. Complete wooden finishing is facing towards the poolside and forest side area with fascinating lush green canopies of trees and grass fields. The resort serves the most delicious food made of organic vegetables and fruits which fascinates me so much.

Wow, another chance of enjoying a wildlife safari in Ranthambore National Park stimulates us to spot a tiger in reserve. This time it was a morning wildlife safari and we all were ensured for sighting the big cat. The safari starts at 6:30 am and we entered again in the wildlife reserve. After a long time of efforts, we finally spot a tiger looking for his prey and we stayed calm and follow the instructions of our guide. Yes, it was a tiger there! Our dream of spotting a tiger came true and we all were like flying high in the sky. Then comes to an end of our safari zone and it was the time to return back the resort.

Arriving back to the farm we had our scrumptious breakfast and then return back to rooms for taking rest. In the afternoon we enjoyed another most wonderful activity in Ranthambore that is Horse riding with a village tour. The farm owns rarest and beautiful Marwari Horses which possess the symbol of heroism and chivalry in the royal state Rajasthan. It was the most wonderful way of interacting with the local villagers and getting the glimpses of the village lifestyle.

After having a wonderful experience in Ranthambore at the best luxury resort, it was the time to return back to home. It was the best 2 days trip of my lifetime and I was completely in love with the natural surroundings of Ranthambore and luxury ambiance of the resort.
