Roku Netflix Streaming - How Does It Work?

Rating & reviews (0 reviews)
Roku is an American manufacturer working for home digital media equipment. The company name is derived from Japanese "Roku". This seems to be because it was the sixth company that founder Anthony Wood made. Founded in 2002, Roku announces the world's first set-top box (media streaming terminal) compatible with Netflix in 2008. With the simplest process of Roku Setup, it seems that this gadget is a pioneer of the streaming world.

Even after that, we steadily expanded our market share, and now we are at the top of the media streaming terminal market, suppressing supermarkets such as Amazon, Google and Apple. Especially in the United States where cord cutting progresses, Roku seems to be increasing year after year.

Why on earth why Roku is endorsed so far, let's look at "the charm of Roku "

Roku has two charms.

The first one is "Cheap Prices". The lowest model "Roku Express" is cheaper than the Amazon's Fire TV Stick. If it is cheap so far, you can lower the hurdle of new purchase "I will buy it for the time being".

The second one is "integrated TV". Roku is affiliated with five manufacturers of INSIGNIA, SHARP, HITACHI, Hi sense, TCL to license an integrated TV called "Roku TV". Roku TV has built-in streaming function of Roku from the beginning via Roku Link Code. Amazon recently released an integrated television equipped with Fire TV, but again, all-in-one TV may not be troublesome for external connection setting and may be liked by a wide range of users.
